The City of Plano has awarded the refuse collection franchise to Groot Industries, Inc. effective January 1, 2007.
Each single family home should receive one 65 gallon cart designated for refuse and a 35 gallon cart for recycling only. The collection program is unchanged with each can or bag or refuse placed outside the cart requiring one (1) prepaid sticker. Yard waste continues to require two (2) prepaid stickers. Each sticker is $1.25 and they are available at Wendt True Value Hardware and City Hall
Yard waste materials will be collected April 1st through November 30th each year.
