- Meets the first Monday of every month at 7:00 PM at City Hall, 17 E. Main St.
- POLICE AND FIRE COMMISSION
- Meets the second Tuesday of every month at 7:00 PM at the Depot, 101 W. Main St.
STANDING COMMITTEES OF THE CITY COUNCIL
- BUILDINGS, GROUNDS AND ZONING:
- Meets the first and third Thursday of every month at 5:30 PM at City Hall.
- STREETS AND UTILITIES:
- Meets the first and third Thursday of every month at 6:00 PM at City Hall.
- FINANCE:
- Meets the second and fourth Monday of every month at 5:00 PM (prior to the regularly scheduled City Council meeting) at City Hall

NOTICE OF SCHEDULE OF REGULAR MEETINGS
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLANO

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Plano, Illinois, will hold regular meetings on the second and fourth Mondays of each month during the year 2008, at 5:30 P.M. Central Standard Time (or Central Daylight Savings Time, when applicable) at the City Council Chambers in City Hall, 17 East Main Street, Plano, Illinois.
Notice is also given that the City Council will meet as a Committee of the Whole on the third Monday of each month at 5:30 P.M. at the City Council Chambers in City Hall.
The following dates are exceptions to the regular meetings scheduled:
(a) The Committee of the Whole meeting scheduled for Monday, February 18, 2008, will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2008, due to the observance of President’s Day.
(b) The regular meeting of the City Council scheduled for Monday, May 26, 2008, will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2008, due to the observance of Memorial Day.
(c) There shall be one (1) meeting only of the City Council in December, to be held on Monday, December 8, 2008. There shall be no Committee of the Whole meeting during the month of December, 2008.
