Coached little leagues baseball, involved with the startup of the Plano Youth Football Divisional Representative for the APA Pool Leagues. Member of the Plano and Yorkville American Legion for 10 years. 1970 to 1972 US Army - Chemical Equipment Repairman Worked 30 years and retired from Caterpillar Tractor Company 16 years as a Welder. AMAW, GMAW, SAW, and FCAW 14 yearsRobot programming, processing, weld procedures, Chinese Manager training, international sourcing and ISO Lead Auditor. I have been involved in all types of welding for over 35 years. 5 years as an Auditor for the AISC. (American Institute of Steel Construction) Currently working for Weld Services in Oswego, IL. 	City Treasurer Janet Goehst 630-552-8823 planotreasurer@comcast.net In April 1995, Janet Goehst filled a mid-term vacancy for the position as part-time City Treasurer. Later, in January 1996, she also assumed the duties of Budget Officer and during these years has managed the finances and budgets for the City that have exceeded $15,000,000. Today, she is also overseeing the financing of the City’s new $4,000,000 police building. Janet’s formal education includes an Associates Degree from Waubonsee Community College, Sugar Grove, IL, a Bachelors Degree in Operations Management from Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, IL and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Aurora University, Aurora, IL. Presently, she sits on the Board of Directors for Kendall County Community Action and the Illinois Community Credit Union. In addition, Janet maintains certifications as an Illinois Municipal Treasurer, Illinois Certified Investment Manager and a Certified Public Finance Administrator for the United States & Canada. In 2005, Janet served as the 27th President of the Illinois Municipal Treasurers Association and today, retains her position on the Board as an Advisor as well as a member of the Nominating Committee. Janet has resided in Plano since 1975 with her husband, George Goehst. Their daughter, Victoria, is presently attending Aurora University and working towards her Bachelors Degree. Besides keeping up with her family, Janet’s interests include golfing, gardening, reading and relaxing. She and her family also enjoy entertaining their friends and neighbors.

	City Clerk (since 1992) - Deanna Brown 630-552-8275 - planoclerk@comcast.net Biography: lived in Plano for 47 years 4 children, 16 grandchildren Certifications: Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC), Registered Municipal Clerk (RMC) & Master Municipal Clerk (MMC) Memberships: Municipal Clerks of Illinois (MCI), International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC), and Northern Illinois Municipal Clerk's Association (NIMCA). Volunteer Work: Plano Sports Boosters, Plano Music Boosters, and has served as Secretary, Vice President and President of the Plano Junior Women's Club. Served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for abused and neglected children in Kendall County and sat on the CASA Board of Directors for 3 years.
