Rates and charges: Billed every two months (water, sewer and garbage)
NEW RATES EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2007.
Water Service:
First 2000 gallons - $14.00 For all gallons in excess of 2,000, $2.73 per 1,000 gallons
Senior Citizens (65 & resident of Plano)
First 4000 gallons - $14.00 all gallons in excess of 4,000, $2.73 per 1,000 gallon
Sewer Service: Rates are based upon number of gallons of water used
First 2,000 gallons - $23.00 For all gallons in excess of 2,000, $3.15 per 1,000 gallons
Senior Citizens (65 & resident of Plano)
First 4,000 gallons $23.00 all gallons in excess of 4,000, $3.15 per 1,000 gallons
Meters are read around the first of the month and bills are mailed at the end of the month.
Example: meters are read January 1 for service during the months of November and December. The bill would be received on February 1. (Service dates are printed on the water bill.)
Garbage Rates: (Effective Jan. 1, 2008)
Regular: $37.10 (2 months)
Senior $32.04 (2 months) Seniors must be 65 or older.
